Just received the shipment of retainer supplies...super fast I might add!!!
I really like the sturdiness of the retainer case with the mirror in the lid. Much nicer than some of the flimsy plastic ones where the lid eventually will snap off from wear and tear.

Excitement level to Defcon 2...expecting full on no-sleep level 1 on de-banding eve...wonder if Santa might show up just to push me over the edge completely?

I've been keeping an eye on your story....first off...Congrats :jump: to you and second...if Santa does happen to show up, can you tell him to get the hell on over to my house...my upper teeth are waiting for some serious "jolly st.nick tiwinkle twinkle of his nose or something fancy like that. I've been a good girl, and still no movement. :ThumbsDown: Anyway, I relish in your excitment!!!!

Thanks for your well wishes jensceana! Those uppers will get a move on, I promise...one morning you will wake up and suddenly you'll see movement..no Santa required (but I'll still slip him your message should he appear in his red & white speedo from his Tahitian beach house). Now *that* is a mental picture not to be missed (shaking her head to erase the mental etch-a-sketch).

Hollywood sidebar: scanning through the channels, caught a glimpse of an episode of "Buffy..Slayer"', and what do you know...one of the poor murdered students turned into a mummy, was identified by his BRACES!! I found that amusing.

Have had plenty of braces dreams in the past, but had the first retainer dream last night. For some odd reason, I was still in braces, but also had the retainer to wear at the same time. I put it in and it kinda went all soft and bent in half, ending up like a wad of chewing gum with wires attached, stuck to the roof of my mouth. Strange!
