Hello everyone! Buckey has been on a hiatus.

Things in NC are going great after several mishaps things are going extremely well! I still haven't found an Ortho yet because of my lack of a job. Yeah...can't really to afford my teeth right now. But things will look up soon. As soon as I get back into the swing of things expect pictures from yours truly :).

Happy teeth movement!!!

Coralina - thank you! The best part about this orange is after two months, it's still orange! I couldn't be more excited! I really could go for a push-up, I haven't had one of those in a really long time.

Once again, I've let myself slip into the second page. The good news is, I think I found a new Ortho and they're two blocks from my house. The bad news is, I haven't started working yet and need money to pay for these teeth of mine. They are in good shape however! The new Ortho is pleased with the work the old Ortho has done and she won't have to add any additional time to my treatment. I'm expected to be out within 14 months once I start getting adjustments. She said she's gonna work on making my lower arch wider (Woo Hoo!). Even better the price is right and I still won't have to make a down payment!

Loving it! Loving it! Did I mention the office smells good and is my favorite color? I can't complain about that either!

If I had a job I would be in there as soon as that place opened (or closed :)) to get my grill tweaked. I just don't want to run out of rubber bands before I make it to them...

Wish me luck and a good paying job ladies and gents! Maybe pics will come soon. Stay posted!

Glad to hear you've found an ortho and i hope you get sorted on the job front pretty soon! I know how you feel, unemployment is abit rubbish isnt it? I got made redundant in may, but since i've moved home for summer i've decided to take the summer off and start my search when i move back in sept, so i'm trying to enjoy my time off while i have it ;)

Thanks PrincessPeach!

I see your removal date is headed our way! Congrats! And never forget your AW family :).

It certainly is rubbish! I've been laid off about 3 times between 2008 and 2009 alone, so this is a really lame moment for me right now. I hope you're enjoying the good life right now! I wish I could relax and enjoy life right now, but I am turning into a worry wart when it comes to these evil bills.

Yuck!

But something for sure will come up I know. I'm trying to get an adjustment scheduled by the end of August which means I need a job tomorrow :).

Be sure to send me thoughts of happiness and prosperity everyone!!! 8)

I am sending you all my happy thoughts in your job search!

Thank you! I could never forget my AW family, you guys have inspired me and helped me through, and i cant wait to see how some of your journeys end, so i cant leave now ;)

It is lame, i blame the economy and not us ;)
Luckily i dont have any bills to worry about until sept, and even then my student loan should cover them, but to live up to my shopoholic and night loving lifestyle [as well as being afford to eat] i am going to have to find a job asap in sept!

Hey All!!!

I'd love to tell you all the exciting new things that are going to be happening soon but...I can't :(.

You all remember that job that I got...Yeah...well, it's either bills or teeth.

This is the first time in 7 years that I've accepted a position that doesn't pay much.

The toofs are STILL too expensive.

Oh well! Back to the Job Boards! Wish me luck!!! :D

Hey Alibracket!

It's been ages since I've heard from you! How the heck are you in spite of the torture the Dentist just put you through?

Root canal huh? That is the most interesting thing I've ever been associated with, never-the-less AWESOME!!! :D

I think I will post some pics soon. My previously orange ligs are a light peach now.. I desperately need to see the Ortho!

Thank you soooooooo very much for the well wishes! And get some pics up for us as well! I need some places to stalk for a moment while I'm transitioning to keep my sanity :P.

Back on the bandwagon!!!

#180 Post by HeyBuckey! »

Hi all!!

I'm excited to post, November 23rd, 2010 @ 9:20 am, Buckey will be making a come back!

That's right! I'm getting back to business. To celebrate I have some progress pics to show you all :D.

And that's it for the progress pics. I thought I'd be able to pass the finish line with zero issues, but check this out!

Image Image

I am missing ligs on both of my lower 2nd bicuspids!!! :( One happened the morning I took these pics while flossing. The other...I have no idea. I'm pretty sure I swallowed it.

My new dentist is pure awesomeness!!! She kind of reminded me of Medusa in the Percy Jackson movie because all I kept seeing was a shadow of her in the background behind me. Then she came in and...SHE HAS BRACES!!! To make it even better! We'll be sharing the same Orthodontist!!! She's almost to the finish line but her chompers are looking fab . That's when I knew I had made the right decision about who I've chosen. Things will be tight but only for a brief moment. It's so nice to be able to post again with progress!

FYI I'm resetting my ticker so my braciversary is on or around February since a) I ended treatment in Colorado in May and b) only had 4 months until I was officially banded for a year. I'd like to do it right :P.

I also am completely out of rubberbands and have seriously slacked on taking care of my teeth. The good thing is, I don't have any cavities and my dentist said both my teeth and gums were in excellent condition, and cleaner than any of her other patients who had braces! Baking soda and peroxide remain my two favorite additions to my routine. It's been great talking with you all again!

Here's one more comparison. This is between the color of my ligs between May of this year and now. It's pretty pitiful :P

Image Image

Wow...Wish me luck for my next appointment which will probably cause some pain and discomfort. But I'm a warrior :D

Well everyone! Ciao for now!
