I'm 31, and I'm so glad I'm doing this. I didn't want another year to pass by with me still thinking of doing something about my smile. Wish I'd done it when i first discussed it with my dentist last year, but better late than never!

I'm 24+. Turning 25 in december. Getting them on next month. Feeling really anxious about it. I have Class1 bimaxillary protrusion and requires the extraction of 4 bis... so I'm not really looking forward to that hahahah and also worrying about how this will change my face:P

I have thought about getting braces for the past 7 years, but never quite pulled the trigger until last month. I'm 36 and will get mine within the next 2 weeks. Looking forward to it....finally getting this done!

Got mine at 28. I'll still have them when I turn 30 unless my 24-30 month sentence magically shortens to 17.5 months or less.

34....and was told at 18 that they would be "mandatory" at some point. Should have just done it when insurance covered them. :( Oh well. They're on, and will be off in 28 months...gosh that sounds like a long time.

I'm 24, never thought I would need braces. I just thought the dentist was trying to increase his sales because my teeth aren't crooked or anything. Then, BHAM... I need a jaw surgery & braces or else my teeth will eventually fall off. :( ... all my front teeth were shaky and I had no choice.
