Yesterday I noticed the teeny tinest gap between my crooked eye tooth and my front tooth! Yay! This is the one that I'm so excited to see move because it was the tooth that prompted this whole journey! I must try and post some pictures.
In other news, I am also extremely worried about the same tooth as I think there might be a cavity in the back of it. I have something that I can feel with my tongue which I thought was a piece of food, but it has been there for about a week now and I have tried everything, floss, toothpick, waterpik, swishing water, and no joy it is still there. Then last night I got a mirror out to see and I thought I saw a hole But when I looked again this morning, I couldn't see anything! I have to wait until Oct 2nd before my dentist can see me I really hope it is not a cavity.

Trip to the dentist tomorrow for a general check up. Fingers crossed that I don't have any fillings that need doing!
First adjustment is on the 12th! Really looking forward to it. I hope I'll see more movement after the adjustment as at the minute, I'm just seeing a gap right in the middle of my two front teeth. I'm a bit worried about it as those two were fine, hope I won't be left with a gap. Still, it's early days. I must start writing my list of questions for the Ortho.

Nearly a month since I last posted an update!
I've since had my first adjustment The ortho says everything is going very well. My eye teeth are nearly 100% straight, at least 90% done now. I can see a lot more gaps now as the teeth straight to move to close the extraction gap! It's very exciting! Still looking in every mirror I pass
Next adjustment is Dec 6th!

Third adjustment is tomorrow! Ortho has up'd my appointments to every six weeks now! My teeth are completely straight now! I saw them without the wire at the last app and they are FAB-U-LOUS! I'm so happy with them!
We have now started the extremely slow process of moving my top teeth to the right to cover the extraction gap of my first pre-molar. The Ortho reckons it will take a year! I think he's right. Six weeks since the last app and I've seen little or no changes. Very disheartening after seeing such quick results in only two months! But there you have it! Hopefully by the next adjustment, I'll see some change.
So home now to stock up on soup for tomorrow's lunch & dinner, as it's unlikely I'll be chewing anything until about Sunday if the last adjustment is anything to go by!

Sounds good! Don't be disheartened, teeth work at their own speed. At least you saw your straight teeth. Well done!
Re: Clare's Story (Ireland)
Hopefully that little glimpse of your teeth will help get you through the next year when changes aren't so evident.
Sounds like things are going very well. Congrats!
