TDiamond - The top first pre molars when you had them out were the gaps noticeable? Did your ortho put those fake teeth in they can make to cover the gaps or was there no need?

My bottom extraction gaps aren't at all noticeable maybe you can see the gap of 1 of them very slightly if you look but it doesn't bother me. Even more so now I have my brace on.

I hope my teeth don't move after all this hard work & money

When they were first taken out I was mortified but I think as my front teeth straightened up a bit the gaps got less noticible. Nobody mentioned the gaps to me anyway and I soon forgot about it. So they either didn't notcie or were just being polite! I don't think about them at all unless I see a photograph as I said before.

I asked my ortho about the fake teeth but he said they are often more hassle than they are worth as they tend to fall off etc. the last thing I want to do is choke to death on a fake tooth after spending all this money on braces hahaha

For what it's worth I don't think I'm going to bother with the fake teeth. I've had four premolars out now and I don't think anyone has noticed. It's very hard to tell if you're facing somebody front on talking and laughing. From the side it's quite noticeable if you have a wide grin.

I've just been working on some party tricks like threading a pencil through my mouth with my teeth clenched
