How much did yours cost???

How much did your Invisalign cost??? Could the cost be related to the complication of the entire thing???

Mine cost $6500. What they're supposed to do is, close gaps by moving all teeth to the back first, and then opening space for the missing teeth so I can get implants. They're also supposed to be pulling down a few teeth...

I don't know how many aligners yet, but I am guessing alot.....

I charge $6250 so that seems like it is in the ballpark.

Mine cost 5600 two and a half years ago. My ortho charged that regardless of if I did braces or the invisalign route. He said braces would of been faster but I would of had to have had my jaw broken so the teeth would line up, YIKES!

On a side note I asked the oral surgeon who did my implant last year about my jaw and he said it was absolutely fine and I didn't need surgery. Interesting!

$5500, then insurance covered $1000 of it so $4500 total. It was about $1500 moe expensive to go with Invisalign than traditional braces. I also had quite a complicated case, 40 upper and lower aligners. This was also over 2 years ago.

I'm sure the price has gone up because it's become popular.

Meryaten,
I've convinced myself that the ortho didn't want to take the time with braces to get everything lined up so he thought it would be easier for him for me to just have an oral surgeon do that part. Gee, easier for him much harder for me. I love how orthos think that jaw surgery is no big deal, after all it only takes a year to heal from.

Isn't the jaw surgery basically breaking your jaw, realigning it and letting the breaks heal? Having your jaw wired shut is no picnic. My brother broke his jaw in a car accident and had his jaw wired shut for 6 weeks. You have to drink your meals through a straw, and the wiring is so bad for your teeth and gums. It's really horrible, and I do not wish that on anyone.

Back meaning like back towards your throat? Or back as in up into the gum?

Price

$7,300 in SF Cali but that will be for two years treatment and everything is more expensive here. Fortunately I have great dental insurance that is paying $4K, though I'm wondering if I had not mentioned the insurance until *after* the price was quoted if it might have been cheaper.

$2,800.00 in Las Vegas--although I did get the Express set, and it doesn't include any retainers or refinements.
Finished w/Invisalign Express, now on my third set of Vivera retainers

I believe mine were $4500...or $4700. One of the two. It included everything from x-rays, molds, trays, retainer, and I'm sure if I needed refinements they'd be included as well. I'm in the Los Angeles area.
