I had x-rays taken on Wednesday when I went for my adjustment and the doc mentioned that we will discuss "when they will come off" on my next visit in four weeks! I'm going to ask for removable retainers when the question comes up. I can't wait.
I have a few more months to go, and I'll be really happy when they are off. My orthodontist keeps saying I'm a few months ahead of schedule. I was given an estimate of 24-30 months and in exactly 2 weeks I'll have them for 2 years. I must say that the 2 years has gone by really quickly though.
I'm going to ask for removable retainers when the question comes up. I can't wait.
