Spanish one got braced at 37 :)

#1 Post by enconstruccion »

Hello!

I got braces 7 days ago, and I'm not having any pain at all. I'm wearing Damon Q braces that are fully metallic, fully bright and fully visible

Anyway, I'm so happy to have braces on, I have been waiting a long time to try to get a nicer smile, as I have some gaps between teeth :GapToothed: (it seems they don't like to get crowed at all).

So, hello everybody and let's improve!
PD: Sorry for my English, I hope somebody can understand what I said

One, your English is stellar (I think you might have put some native speakers to shame!).

Two, congratulations!

:D Thank you, I spend a lot of time writing every post

Everything is going well there, without any pain... Oh, now I remember a sentence 'No pain, no gain', I hope they were wrong :P

Not seeing any improvement yet, but I know, it's too soon to be able to see any changes. My ortho said me I won't see great changes until my next appointment, when she will change my archs and will start to close the gaps.

I agree. Your English is excellent. Wish my Spanish was nearly as good! I too wanted to feel some pain right away. The ortho assistant described my first wires as "training wheels." So I do think we will feel a big difference at the next appointment.
Class II moderately deep overbite, mild crowding.
Braced on January 19, 2011. Debraced on December 16, 2013.
2 years, 11 months in braces.

Yes, sometimes I also think my first arch is a kind of training arch. We will see on our next appointment ;)

Like everyone said, your English is great. I also speak Spanish and used to live abroad, but I've been away from the language for nearly 5 years, so maybe I've forgotten a lot. I've been to Spain too, mostly the northern part. I look forward to reading your posts.

Re: Spanish one got braced at 37 :). 1st visit.

I just came from my first visit to the orthodoncist, and ouch  this time really hurt... They changed both wires, and put some kind of transparent chain to remove the gaps.

I have spent a bad time on the wires change, as the wires didn't fit well on the brackets, so they had to push reallly really hard.

But well, now it's time to see more and faster improvements
