@Stepher7 - how did it go on Monday? I got mine yesterday too, it feels so alien. I've had a few tears, wondering if I've done the right thing, I just can't ever imagine getting used to them. No pain as such, just tenderness & a very sore mouth. Trying to use the wax but I think I need a bit more practise at getting it to stick!!! I feel hungry - craving some solid food. Had soup, yoghurt & porridge so far. Gonna try some cheesy mash potato & spaghetti hoops in a bit - whoopie
take care

Hi Rae, I just saw this post now, sorry for the late response! Well, the actual application of the braces went great! That's neat that we got them on the same day, it will be interesting to follow your progression...it seems like everyone is so different! Eating has definitely not been enjoyable like it used to be :( I've been sticking to soft foods like pastas, oatmeal, pudding, yogurt, etc. I'm a bit of a carnivore so not eating meat sort of stinks lol but from what I've read on other people's posts it does get easier with time. There is some definite gapping going on with my teeth! Nothing super noticeable, only to me haha but I take that as a good thing because it means that things are on the move! How have you been finding the last few days? Brushing, flossing, etc. is a total pain for me! (Literally, it's painful lol)
