Braces and Kissing?

#1 Post by hithere »

Can anyone tell me how that works, their experiences with it? Is it embarrassing and does it make the experience less pleasurable?

No difference unless your partner runs their tongue across them. Try it and don't worry.

My husband didn't notice the braces at all. I asked him all the time if they bugged him and he says he doesn't feel them at all.
It's one of those things that might make you nervous at first, but then you'll be fine.

I think it bothers me more than my husband. He doesn't even notice. The only time I have had a problem is now when I have my springs in. It kinda hurts for me to continually open and close my mouth because it rubs.

LOL. No issue. I tried the vigorous kissing thing soon after braces and that took some practice....now? Meh...it's great!

I'm not quite up to 'vigorous' yet... it's more like 'careful.' But my husband says it's a small price to pay because he knows I'll be so happy when my teeth are all pretty in the end. :GapToothed:

Definitely NOT an issue! It might take a bit of getting used to at first because the braces feel so weird in your mouth, but once you're used to them being there, kissing is pretty much exactly the same as without braces! Don't worry about it, just enjoy!
