Plaque staining pills

Just read on a topic about these plaque staining pills, has anyone tried them? I have ceramic uppers would it stain them?? It sounds quite interesting to try them. Is it alright to use them with braces?

I've seen them used with braces so it won't hurt them. They also won't stain the brackets, but if you have clear or light colored ligs on the clear brackets, it may stain those.

The best idea is to use them the day before an appt, that way if your ligs stain, you get new ones. Do not use them if you have any where to go. You're whole mouth with be bright pink, or red...it's not pretty. lol. They are pretty cool to use though. Do your whole cleaning routine, then use one and check to see if you're missing anything. That way you know what spots you have to work to keep clean.

Cool! Thanks guys, i have self liguating ceramics so i should be fine :) i think im gonna have to order them online, can't seem to find them in any shops, i live in New Zealand.

They are called Plaque Disclosing Tablets or just Disclosing Tablets.

I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!
