Considering braces...

#1 Post by braces1234 »

I had some orthodontic work done when I was about 13, it wasn't the best, but it did the job. When my wisdom teeth came through, I believe they pushed everything out of place, now leaving me with crooked teeth I am very self-conscious about. As I am still a student, I'm not likely to be able to start any treatment till I graduate and get a job, but I figured I would come and get the opinion of others on here! :)

Cheers! :)

Yeah, wisdom teeth will do that to you. My teeth were crooked before my wisdom teeth came in and when they did it made everything worst thats why I decided to get braces. I got my wisdom teeth extracted so I have room for my teeth to shifts thats way the ortho didnt have to extract other teeth in my mouth. Im in braces for two weeks now and everything seems to be on its way to straight teeth. =) If you dont have any room in your mouth and your teeth are shifting causing your teeth to be crooked. I will suggest get your wisdom teeth removed but asked your dentist first and see what he have to say about it; cause some people have room and some dont. Goodluck

That's too bad to hear that you'll have to get more work done on them, but good luck!
