I'm 23 and I just got mine. It's reassuring to know that I'm not the only one past my teenage years in braces!

got them at 8 and got them off at 9 then had them at 12 and got them off right before my 14th birthday (my orthodontist did a two phase treatment so that's why i had them on and then got them off). but then my jaw just decided to keep going so now i have them again at 19 to fix my open bite with surgery and am supposed to have them on for 9 months total.

was 28 when i began Invisalgn braces, now 30 when I have begun wearing my ceramic braces.

I never really cared about my crooked teeth growing up, always thought it would be nice to have straight teeth, but it didn't really both me too much. But a few years ago, I realized if I ever wanted to have straight teeth, now is the time to do it. Finacially, I could afford it, so just go for it; it's 'now or never' sort of thinking lol

So, i went for it and I'm almost done. I'm very happy I did. :)
Invisalign: September 2009-May 2011
Ceramic Braces: May 2011-December 2011

I got my braces at 24 and honestly I wish I had done it sooner! I recently got my bicuspids removed and I get my wires put in on the 21st. I can't wait to close these huge gaps!!

Getting them on next week and I just turned 25 on June 24th. I'm actually really looking forward to it!

I got my braces in May 2010 when I was 14. This coming September I'm going to the eleventh grade, so hopefully my braces will come off before my senior year of high school. I've been wanting to get my braces off as soon as possible even more and more as one by one each of my friends got debraced.

26, and like most, wish I would've sooner - I've never enjoyed smiling more (and the clear brackets make it all the more fun to do so!)
