Coil Springs

#1 Post by ceelow14 »

Hello there, I was wondering if the coil springs on your braces have ever become detached before. One of them on my braces has fell off one of the teeth they were connected to but is still attached to another tooth. And what did you do when it happened?

I have a coil but this has never happened to me before. If it did, I would call my ortho's office and see what they wanted me to do. If you don't have an appointment soon they may want you to come in so they can fix it quickly. I hope you're able to get it sorted!

Def call your ortho right away. This happened to me and I was too busy to call so I just left it till my next appointment a couple weeks later. My ortho said I should have came in to get it fixed as soon as possible because having a spring on just the one side could have messed up my teeth. Lesson learned!
