My elastic popped off

#1 Post by misswonky »

Hi again, just thought i'd see if this happened to anyone else. My elastic on one of my front teeth came off and had to make an emergency trip to the dentist. He had to replace the whole bracket which was very uncomfortable, now the whole thing feels really tight again.
Also one side the teeth seem to be moving faster than the other which is a bit odd... Any feedback appreciated.

I had elastics go wild, brackets fall, protunding wires .... these are normal. You did the right thing by seeing your dentist, so you're fine. Steeth do move in diffeent ways and some react better or worse to the treatment. It's your doctor's job to tweak the treatement so that it works. As i said to others, as long as you are with a goood doctor,, you'll be fine
