I've tried just about every lip balm there is. My absolute favorite is Nivea A Kiss of Smoothness with SPF4. It isn't a smelly one, and is so hydrating. I buy like 5 tubes at a time lol.

Agreed! I really like Nivea. I also use Vaseline and occasionally burt's bees lip balm.

CARMEX!!!!!!
I am obsessed with it, I must have 20-30 tubes. Every time I go to the USA I stock up. In Canada one is like $3 but I can get it for 99 cents in the good old USA.

I have discovered what i think is the best chapstick ever. I had found Neutrogenas Norwegian Formula hand cream a couple years ago, and discovered it's fantastic on lips, over night making them very soft. It's the hand cream, but in a chapstick tube. It's fantastic! It's a little expensive at 3.99 a tube, but worth it. I bought 4 at once cause they're on sale.

carmex!! my favorite one is the bigger yellow tube. i got a smaller carmex, in a skinny black tube don't like it as much as the fatter tube, which allows me to slather it on thick!

I use ChapStick brand and Nivea chapstick. I love them both.

I'm addicted to Blistex DCT. Seriously, I need an intervention. I am never, ever without it

Burt's Bee's Pomegranate lip balm. It's amazing! I love pomegranates, this is smoothing, great smelling, and gives my lips a tint of red.

I was never a lip balm user except when I got my wisdom teeth out and now with braces. I have used the basic Chapstick type, which feels waxy to me. I have tried the Burt's Bee's Pomegranate, which works wells and smells good, but the red tint is not appealing to me being a guy. 
I recently have been using Blistex Medicated Lip Balm and Blistex Deep Renewal. I like that they both are SPF 15. The Medicated works great as a general lip balm. The Deep Renewal works really well, smells good, but the applicator looks like lipstick.

Carmex works wonders. If anyone out there is about to get their braces soon, apply a good amount of any lip balm before your appointment. Your mouth will be open for a while and your lips will become very dry.

I'm using Jack Black Intense Therapy, I absolutely LOVE this stuff!!
It lasts for hours, and I am not kidding. But the only bad part about this is that it's a little pricy, about $6 for a .25oz, but it's worth the cost in my opinion.
