Blister?

#1 Post by sweetembraceable »

I seem to have a blister on my gums near my buccal tube bracket (on the cheek side.) Anyone else experience this? I've been doing salt water rinses. Any way to avoid them or other ways to treat them? :?:

I used to have one on the top. It was really annoying and painful, I applied wax that they gave me and it helped. It is now healed, although that area is still somewhat scarred.
I now have one on the bottom too. I don't use the wax and just let it heal. It does slowly heal by itself. So continue with your rinses and do the wax and it will get better.
Had full mouth metal braces for 21 months. Debonded April 2013. Now wearing clear plastic retainers every other night.

I'm not being poked by the wire though. Which is why I'm confused. There's no wire end there. Is it from the adjustment last week anyway though?
