Which Waterpick products do you like/use?

#1 Post by bbsadmin »

There are many models of Waterpiks availble (and similar products made by companies other than Waterpik).

Which models of Waterpik (or similar) do you guys have, and how do you like them?

Do you prefer the plug-in models or the cordless battery-operated models?

Thanks
Lynn

I have the Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser (WP-100) and love it! It came with 6 different tips including one designed for braces. It also as 10 different speeds so you can start out slow until you get used to using it. It plugs in so I only use it as part of my nightly routine but really once a day works great for me. I would feel strange carrying around a portable one I think, but that's just me!

I have the Ultra (plug-in version) as well, and I love it. I use it 2 or 3 times a day, usually once in the morning as part of the brushing routine, and sometimes I splash a teaspoon or so of mouthwash into the water tank, which will make the jet stream burst into bubbles when it hits your teeth and goes in your gums. (when the tank runs out, I pour a half cup of water in to clear the system)

I pretty much only use the orthodontic attachment, but I'm sure just about any of them would do. And I leave it on max power. (Why wouldn't I?)

I was skeptical that the battery powered one wouldn't have enough force, nor hold enough water, but now I'm thinking that they're probably adequate for what it is for. But I still wouldn't get one because they're huge. (I'm referring to the widely-available battery-powered waterpik)

I also have Waterpik Ultra and I love it. I like the 6 different heads but I mainly use the standard tip, ortho tip and the toothbrush tip.

I have never used a battery operated one and after having the plug in version, I don't think I ever would.

I also like how you can occasionally put mouthwash in the reservoir.

Hydrofloss; its a plug in; 4 standard tips; I also put mouthwash in for a splash once in a while.

Love it and use it twice a day, my son in braces also, uses it at least once if not twice a day.

I just had a gum check up at the periodontist Monday since my tops have been debanded and he was very impressed the gums were in such good shape after 6 months of braces.

The QuickBreeze Oral Irrigator (formerly "QuickPik") DentalKit.com (http://www.dentakit.com/quickbreeze.html). It attaches to the faucet and it's heaven sent. No batteries, no filling container, you can apply as much pressure as you like. WONDERFUL!!

I also have the Waterpik Ultra Water Flosser (WP-100) and the cordless Waterpik.

I do like the plug in one better (stronger), but the cordless one is great to bring to work. I'm glad I got both of them.
In full braces for 2 years, 3 weeks, 1 day.
