This is something I wanted to ask too. Didn't think I could ask my orthodontist lol. I now have bands, and they're a bit sharp on the inside. Wondering if I can still give oral? Wouldn't want to slice anyone.

i realy don't see any problem of a female with a mouthfull of braces being a prob, unless you have hooks on the inside of your mouth, being the tounge side for elastics, in this case it would act like a fishing hook an catch your mans member , now guys with braces need to be a bit more carefull , myself included as i would not wan't to hook up with my wife this way as you can understand , have a great weekend everyone

In my case, my left and right molars (and therefore, the bands and inner cleats) are rather far apart, even though I have a relatively small mouth. I maintained a straight trajectory without obviously angling to either side and everything went well. Many times. Even with speed.

I couldn't nibble though. Because the brackets/wires always got in the way.

everything can still be done with braces , i didn't have to slow down much when i wore COMBINATION HEADGEAR 22 hours a day

yes slicing is allways possible, if you do have cleats or hooks , PLEASE put wax over them , as a trip to the ER might be very unpleasent for both of you

, so wax up an have fun, an like ELMER FUD be very carefull

I'm terrified that this situation would come up because I truly believe my braces are a danger to men. However this past weekend I had my first post-braces kiss so one hurdle is passed I have seen that kissing IS possible so maybe other things are too. Still it's a bit of a risk and I'd rather continue my treatment without damaging anything.

That would be such an awkward trip to the ER. "How on earth did you manage to slice yourself up like that??"
"Well... this girl I'm seeing has braces."

as long as you don't have a rake for tounge thurst or cleats for elastics , oral sex shouldn't be a prob , my wife was a bit on edge the first time ,after i was braced , but everything went well

, now if your stuck in headgear 24/7 that could bring up some issue , but even that can be wirked around , as i have had to wear headgear ,
