1. Where are you located? Cheshire (near Chester) England, UK
2. How much are you paying for your braces? My 11 year old's current overjet treatment is £2500, I have been quoted £4500-£5000 for my treatment with the same orthodontist. They charge less for similar treatment in children
3. What kind of braces do you have? Miniature metal both arches on both child and adult - an extra £400 for ceramics.
4.What is your estimated time in braces? My child is maximum 12 months, mine will be 2 years.

1. Where are you located? Florida
2. How much are you paying for your braces? $5590 out of pocket, my insurance is reimbursing monthly up to $1500 maximum. This includes 1 year of follow up and invisalign type retainers.
3. What kind of braces do you have? Self ligating metal braces top and bottom, full arches.
4. What is your estimated time in braces? 17-21 months (however, I was warned that it might take longer :lol: )
Had full mouth metal braces for 21 months. Debonded April 2013. Now wearing clear plastic retainers every other night.

I have no formal dental or orthodontic education. Hence, all opinions expressed by me on this forum are those of an "informed consumer" and by no means intended as an expert advice.

4. What is your estimated time in braces? 24 months
Brace Date: 14th April 2011
Estimated Debrace Date: 14th April 2013
Real Debrace Date 18th June 2013

4 extractions, upper ceramic brackets and lower metal to fix overjet and overcrowding.

4. What is your estimated time in braces? 24-30 months, with surgery about a year before they come off.
