My midline is off by about 3/4 of the width of a bottom front tooth. I got elastics today to put from upper canine to bottom canine on the other side to wear at night. Anyone know how long the midline takes to move? (obviously each case is different but I'm looking for an average)
Thanks.

Re: Midline elastic timing.
I just had the same thing this Monday, and I expect to be out of braces around Christmas time (or shortly thereafter) and i must say that my midline is moving along nicely already. I noticed this morning that a slight gap has started to open up between my midline, which was way off before, I almost had one central front tooth, now things are almost even. Are you in linguals? How far along are you in treatment in general?

Re: Midline elastic timing.
Hi. Was in linguals for three years and then changed to ceramics three weeks ago. Maybe I'm lucky but even with a relatively toothy smile they are pretty invisible and so much more comfortable than linguals and working faster.
