Getting 3rd archwire tomorrow! (Damon System)

Haven't been on the boards for a while...really did not have anything new to report, plus going through a bit of depression/life changes (moving, relationship stuff) BUT I have something new to look forward to and that is getting my 3rd archwire tomorrow!

Can't believe I've had these suckers on for three months already!

My Ortho said the 3rd wire will be the real "workhorse" of treatment, and that I'm not going to like him very much after he installs it...ha! This one is supposed to be rigid, stainless steel and non-flexible like my previous two archwires. But I'm ready 8)

I believe he will also be adding brackets and extending the wire(s)to my back teeth (molars) which have been naked all this time. They feel neglected haha....

My bottom teeth have already aligned very nicely since August. It's my darn top teeth that I feel have hardly moved. :yuck:

I will post an update on Thursday!! :tingrin:

So, how was the third wire?? I just started this process, and I guess I'm beginning to understand that each new wire moves the teeth more. Ugh. Hopefully nothing is as bad as this first week!!

Any advice or insight you can offer is appreciated!!

Got my 3rd wire around Thanksgiving. Boy do you feel THIS ONE! This one will kick your butt for a few days haha. I've got 8 mos to go! I love these braces!
