I was thinking about going with a light pink chain but I was worried about staining so I decided on the dark pink chain! :)

AM21 Thanks :) when it shines in the actual dark its a SUPER bright green colour. I LOVE it.

None of the ligs at my orthodontist's practice stains and I been eating a lot of stainy things and drinking a lot of stiany things that would stain the ligs. But mine just won't stain.

I LOVE that pink. it's awesome. My plan was to go
Jan: Blue and White
Feb: Pink and Red
March: Dark Green with Ligh Green alternating, but I will not be going back until march so I just got this AMAZING glow in the Dark thing going on.

The glow in the dark is so cool. I would get them if I could, but I would end up getting sunburn on my gums from making them glow with my UV blacklight. Makes me wish I had a blacklight that was not high powered UVA and UVC model like the fluorescent mineral prospecting light I have.

This thread makes me a bit jealous. I have self-ligating braces and no need for the ligs. While I would love to have the fun colors, I'm just as happy not having to worry about the hygiene aspect of having them.

I'm cheering all of you on though. :jump: If we have to have braces, we might as well enjoy them.

Metalsmile you sure go to the orthodontist more often than any of us. Why? I go every 5-7 weeks. My friends with your kind of braces went every 4-6 weeks.

The first few were actually all of them since I got braces in May. I go every 3 weeks for the time being because I had an unerrupted tooth in the back that it being pulled upright now that it is exposed. I had the double wammy of unexposed and sideways. I have to get the chain adjusted on it every 3 weeks to keep tension on it. When I'm in the office, they always change out ligs/powerchains just to keep them taut.

Oh Ok. I was just wondering. How is everything going with your braces? How much longer do you have treatment wise?

thank goodness for this particular posting.....because of all the pics - I have decided I am going to brave it and get colors on my next (and first) adjustment. When I had my uppers put on last month, I was asked if I wanted a specific color and I just looked back at the girl with no clue what she was truly asking. She said, okay for now - we'll put on clear. I want the med blue ones.....and I am so excited about it!!! So thanks again to those of you who have given me the confidence to make the leap into colors!!

Back from another adjustment. I decided to choose blue again, but picked a brighter shade this time. I love it!
