This thread has been really useful :) I'm having a look through all the pictures to try and decide what colour to get next time - the problem i've had is that they ask me when they're about to put the ligs on so i'm sat there in a discomfort as they just put the wire in with my mouth open and completely unable to talk! Going to make sure I ask to have a look at the colours as soon as I walk into the room next time!

Here is a lig chooser that looks like it is on real teeth instead of being cartoonish like some are.

This is my March Selection. Martha from my work picked it out for me. :) Also A while back it seemed to be the most popular wanted colour amongst my friends.

April 2012 Selection. I really love the Harry Potter series and took multiple tests to see what house I would be sorted into. I even joined porttermore and took that one. I am a SLYTHERIN. LOL. I was going to get sliver alternating but the braces are already silver. And the person who built the office for her that I am friends with, his favourite colour is green and he requested I do green sometime :)

Hi, I'm new here to the forum (my name is Lenette and I'm 23!) and I was recently informed by my orthodontist to come in and discuss the treatment plan for my braces (had to wait over a month for my insurance to approve full coverage). So that is going to take place Wednesday and I'm already eager to figure out what colors I'd like to get for my ligs. I'm leaning toward all black for when the braces are put on since that is my favorite color... But I know at some point I'd like to switch it up every now an then and just have no idea what colors to choose

So what is the conscensus of opinion regarding the 'best' colored ligature that does not stain as much and is not an actual primary color? I have clear on right now and they have not stained too badly and I drink coffee every day. But they are a bit yellowed after 2 weeks, I get new ones at 3 weeks.

I've heard gray or silver might be better? Is that true? If so, I plan to ask my ortho if he has those.

Thanks!
