First of all, I would like to say that you have blinded me with your teeth, they are so white and pretty! :D

Second, Just give it some time, be patient, your ortho knows what's best for your case. Your gap will be closed in due time! I can def. see changes and they look really good! Don't get discouraged, things will get better soon! :)

Awww thanks so much AM21...I needed to hear those words of encouragement...I guess I'm a little anxious for progress and it's not happening as fast as I want...I'm not the best w/ patience.

You're welcome! :) I understand, I have those days. Especially, when I see different people's debrace pictures. I'm like hurry up and move teeth! lol But we just have to wait it out, unfortunately.

So I went to the ortho Tuesday...She said my teeth are moving & she gave me rubber bands to wear. She said that my gap would start to close up & hopefully she won't have to extract any teeth. I never knew that rubber bands could close gaps, I thought powerchains only closed gaps. But we shall see. I'm learning to have patience & trust her :)

Well here are a few pics..Nothing really changing :?

& the rubber bands were very painful in the beginning. They've gotten a little more comfortable.
Also I'm noticing my smile is a little off. I wonder if that will change after my teeth move more...

Happy smiling & Happy Holidays

Looking Good, Sin. :) That's one thing I'm not looking forward to are the rubber bands.. Going to stink.. I also didn't know that rubber bands could close gaps either, that's interesting..

There are many phases of braces and yeah, even though your teeth may be off now, they will be in their proper position by the time your braces come of. Sometimes we have to go through the it gets worse before better thing.

Thanks for looking at my blog! :)

Happy Holidays!

Thank Goodness for pictures!

Today I came on and looked at a few pics and wished that my teeth were moving faster like others. I decided to take some pics of my teeth since I have not done so in a while. When I looked at my teeth now, compared to 7 months ago(Time Flies!) they have moved. Yes, I feel like the gap should be closed after 7 months BUT it's ALOT better than it was. I also have to remember that I still have almost a year left of my sentence(Braces off.) Oh yeah, my ortho put a powerchain on two of my teeth a couple months ago, so I have new gaps between other teeth. I have an appointment to see her on Tuesday so hopefully she'll do something new so I can see more progress.

Anywayz, NEW pics & Happy Smiling Everyone!

Lol! I know the feeling.

Things are moving along great! My gap is so tiny now, it's really weird. I used to be able to stick a bendy straw in between my two front teeth, now I can only spit a small stream of water between the small gap. haha! (I learned that by accident.)

I still have a long way to go though. Once everything is aligned, then we have to work on my bite and that's going to take the longest.

Well, my teeth has definitely progressed. Never thought i would say this but my gap is FINALLY closed! I went to my ortho a few weeks ago and she did alot of new stuff. (I don't know the correct terms for :? .) I got a power chain on four of my top teeth and power chains on all of my bottom teeth. She probably did more, but that's all that I remember. I'm also still wearing the rubber bands.

Because my gap has closed in the front, I have new gaps on the sides. I wonder when my ortho is going to start closing those up. Probably some time in the summer...But I'm happy with my progress, and I can't wait to see how I will progress over the summer, since i'll be able to go to her every 4 weeks, instead of every 8 weeks or longer.

Happy smiling to everyone...I'm currently counting down the days for summer break! :flowerbloom: ...And off to the pics... :D
