Tomorrow is 9 months!

#1 Post by jlaathome »

Tomorrow marks nine months for me since I had braces put on. My teeth look beautiful and yesterday I had an appointment and had to start wearing elastics from the top canines to the lower back molars. But...it's not so bad. My personal goal is to get them off by December! Of course that's all subject to how quickly my teeth move and I cooperate :) But trying to remain optimistic. I can't wait to have these little suckers off and have a beautiful smile to show off!

Yay you! I haven't even reached 2 weeks yet and I am already tired of it all. :-) Good luck with your goal!

Congrats! My 9 month anniversary was 5 days ago :) I have a lot of work to be done and we are looking at a total of 2 years (or more). Thursday I go in to get brackets on 3 teeth that were left un braced because we needed to move the others first. 9 months, go us!

I just looked at the date you posted. Did you get your braces on June 15th? That's when I got mine!

Congratulations! My 9 month is in 3 weeks. It is going by so fast. I also started elastics about 5 weeks ago. I was told 15-18 months for my treatment, so hoping for 15 months or sooner, which will be this Nov. Here's to a teeth that cooperative, so we can have healthy beautiful smiles!

Congrats on your 9 months. One set of my elastics is in that same configuration. I started with them within weeks of getting my braces. I adapted to that one pretty quickly. Hopefully it continues to be "not too bad" and your time with them goes quickly.
