First adjustment and new wires

#1 Post by tinksqueak »

I've had my linguals on for two months now and had my wire changed for the first time last week, plus some buttons on my lower teeth and also some 'quick ligs' (is that right?).

I've updated my blog with photos for you and an update on my progress. Take a look and leave me a comment!

My gums were quite achy for about a week afterwards and it was hard to eat again but now it's all ok again. Looking forward to getting a proper bracket attached to my most protruding tooth next time I have an adjustment - exciting!

I am going to read your blog right now :) I will have had my linguals on for 2 weeks tomorrow, so I am curious as to what will happen at my next appointment. Thats in the beginning of May ( I think May 2nd)

Good luck with your first adjustment... mine was a few weeks ago now and most of the pain has subsided - just the odd achy tooth every now and again now. And the best news is, my lisp has almost completely gone!!!

It's really nice to know you're following my journey and found my blog useful. Thanks!
