How Often do I change Zebra Elastics?

Hey I wear Ormco Z-Pak Zebra elastics how often do I change them?

Then I would call your ortho and ask. All orthos should be 100% open to receiving calls with questions or concerns from their patients. They should also be willing to see a patient if necessary if a concern comes up.

To me - this is a very important factor in what makes an excellent doctor. I'm thrilled with the response I receive from mine.

Honestly - no one on here can (or should) give you the correct advice on rubber bands, that is up to your doc.

you're right. But for some reason with 24 hours it still had full elasticity so I wasn't sure but you're right I probably should call only thing is, they're closed today and paging her isn't exactly something I enjoy doing.

I understand. I'm lucky - I have an email addy where I can pose questions and my ortho gets back to me very fast. Hang in there - I hope you hear back soon.

My ortho says to change elastics twice per day. I don't like that- I change them every time I eat or brush my teeth. They don't mind giving me a couple of extra packages!

Funny thing I just got off the phone with coordinating my cleaning with my adjustment and talked to my ortho and she too just told me 2 times a day at least.
