Four months with my lingual braces - new photos + blog!
I've had my lingual braces for four months now and I can't believe how my teeth have changed! I even wore red lipstick for the first time this weekend - something I never would've done before as I hated the idea of drawing attention to my teeth!
Anyway, I'm getting my third new wire tomorrow so have taken lots of photos so you can see how my teeth look now and updated my blog here: http://insideimsmiling.wordpress.com/20 ... s-journey/
Thanks for all your support both here and with your blog comments. I can't believe how much more confident I feel in myself so soon into my lingual journey and I don't know if I would've been brave enough to take the plunge if I hadn't found this forum

It seems like your process has gone to fast! congratulations. I just want to say that -I think your teeth and smile was supercute before braces. But I know how it is, and no one understands that I need braces when I tell people I´m starting my treatment. But I do it for myself, and my confidence (and functional reasons of course). I´m getting my linguals in 1,5 month! Then I have one month before school starts, and I really hope that I´m ready to TALK after that month. I´m so worried about the speech problems. English is not my first language, but I´m studying in US now. So it´s both having linguals & speaking a second language..

I had my linguals on for almost 2 weeks and didn't experience much pain, but you're is very good
I hope I start to see my results soon, my upper teeth are heavily over crowded
And I think my results will take time.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for all your lovely comments on my last post. I had my forth new wire last week and am feeling really happy about how my teeth are looking so far. I can already see a big difference and my ortho commented that my teeth are moving well too, which is good to hear.
Anyway, I've written a new blog post with more photos of my teeth taken just before the adjustment. I've now had my braces for SIX WHOLE MONTHS which has actually gone really fast!
Check out the pictures here and let me know what you think!

Re: Four months with my lingual braces - new photos + blog!
this is really encouraging news for me (and others im sure)
im due to have linguals fitted on friday and im terrified.. i really dont know whether to expect pain or speech issues (everyone seems to have a different tale)
Is there is anything you could recommend to someone like me who is about to have them fitted, seeing as you are 4 months down the line?? - particularly around managing pain and food
Also, how long until your first wire was changed??
keep up the positivity

Very impressive in a short amount of time. I wish lingual was offered in my area.
