reverse decay
hi everyone, sorry if this is in the wrong section.Im really upset because i have been to the dentist today and they said i have a lot of decay so i can start orthodontic treatment for at least another year. They want to put flouride fillers in but i don't want them because they are toxic. Is there any natural way to treat tooth decay? how long would it take? Im also upset that i still can't find an ortho willing to treat me with a functional appliance because they say im too old. (im 24) Iv noticed lots of adults in the USA get treated with them so why don't orthodontists un the UK do the same?

Re: reverse decay
I understand your concerns about the fluoride treatments. There are lots of people out there who claim that you can skip the floride and fillings by "re-mineralizing" your teeth naturally.

Please be careful no matter what you choose to do. Do your research and find a dentist who you can trust.

Re: reverse decay
I've read things online on this same topic. A lot of people oil pull and brush with bentonite clay. I've been doing both for about 3 months now. My mouth is looking better overall but I can't really say anything about decay. I had 3 cavities (I'm 25 and I'd never been to the dentist until last month and that's when I was told I only had 3 and had them filled asap). I have one tooth that looks like it has a spot of decay but the dentist says it isn't because when he pokes it isn't soft. Anyway, I guess this doesn't really help you out, sorry. I've also heard great things about the Paleo Diet really helping where the mouth is concerned.
