Had a powerchain put on my lowers. Really hurt when she was putting it on but have had no pain since. Had front bottom incisor removed. Gap is closing really quickly.

I'll have the single incisor in between the two top teeth. Have seen pictures of the end result and I don't think you can really tell.

Hi Jem,

I am doing fine....just been so busy with work the last few weeks. I could really use a holiday lol.

So far the braces are going ok, though I had some weird tenderness with one particular tooth i thought maybe it was something do do with the filling i have. It is fine now though but for about a week on and off i was having that weird sensation.

my next adjustment will be this Saturday. I am so looking forward to it as there has been alot of movement so far. I will post new pics after my adjustment.

How are things with you?

Al fine with me thanks Kelly. I hope Saturday goes well. My next adjustment is next Wednesday and I will have done 6 months a week after that. Time flies!

hey guys,

had my adjustment yesterday and all went well. had brand new white coated wires top and bottom, same size as before (.018). still have powerchain linking all my bottom teeth and some of my top teeth. just a slight tenderness this morning but i think i will be fine within the net 24 hrs or so.

my next adjusment will be on 28th july.

i have attached a couple pics taken yesterday after the adjustment.

That looks like good progress both on top and bottom since your last adjustment. Makes it all worthwhile!

I'm afraid I am a bit of a donkey with IT so haven't much of a clue re posting pictures. Like you, I just post them as attachments with the 3 available boxes. I have kept my pictures on my computer and the way I do comparisons is just by attaching old photos from my files

Hi guys,

Had another adjustment today and all seems to be progressing nicely. I got new white coated wires top and bottom. Still on steel .018 round wires as this will be the largest wire for the rest of my treatment. Also got some new powerchains. I really needed them as the previous ones were in a state after the 5 weeks gap between my adjustments.

Got some good news from the ortho today.....he thinks based on the progress so far that we are about half way there so he has estimated that all going well I should be in a position to be debraced in January or February 2013. This is excellent news as my initial estimate was 18 months so I was looking more towards July 2013. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there won't be any unforseen reasons to cause delay.

My next adjustment will be on 01st September.

Great to hear things are going well and you are ahead of schedule.

I noticed the same problem re posting pictures. I have opened a Photobucket account and uploaded all my pictures onto that, but have not yet figured how to then include a picture in a message on this board. I haven't got time to mess about with it at the moment, but will let you know when I work it out.

thanks jem. let me know when you figured it out. i had also registered with photobucket some time ago and also imageshack but havent figured out how they work yet.

i think i will definitely have to go to the ortho office before my next adjustment to get my powerchains changed as i had some peri peri chicken yesterday and today and they are already looking slightly discoloured. how are things going with yours jem?
