Extractions and pain

#1 Post by lovelyj85 »

Hi everyone.. I had 4 premolars extracted 4 days ago.. it wasn't that bad in terms of pain at first, but now ALL of my teeth are aching. I've had braces on for 10 months now and just got elastics too. I noticed that the day after my teeth were extracted my teeth all feel like they are trying to move fast and now they all ache.. especially the ones that have the elastics on them. Has anyone else experienced this? The extraction sites feel fine.. it's just A LOT more pressure on all of my other teeth now :-( I'm just wondering how long this will last!

You should get it checked out - could be a dry socket.
I had severe pain after teeth extraction because the blood clot covering the area where the tooth was got dislodged. Your surgeon might dress up the area and it usually helps.
