ok, so I had my appointment yesterday and was told things are moving really fast. things are looking good and he's happy with the progress. I chose a lavendar color which I really like. i wasn't too thrilled with the green I had last month. It was a little too dark and not so cheery as if I went with a lighter green.
No pain after the adjustment, just felt like he was going to yank out the tooth next to my canine though as he tied the lig into a figure eight. I hate when he has to rotate a tooth (so far I have had 4 that 5 or 6 that needed rotating) and it really does feel like the tooth is going to be ripped out while he gets it into the bracket or does something else.
Can't wait to see what happens over the next couple of months.
So happy that I started this journey even if I did have all the second thoughts and anxiety.

I went yesterday for an adjustment and they said that I am moving along much faster than predicted. not keeping my hopes up, but I pray to be done by the Sept. They haven't said anything and I don't ask. I was quoted 2 years and am happy to hear that progress is going really well.
Got some new powerchains and some figure eight ties too. They took pics again which is my absolute worst part of the visit when they put the mirror in my mouth. Makes me want to gag!
I still think my 1st molars on the bottom are point in a bit and when I asked, he looked, told me to bite down and said I think its ok. I don't, but want to wait a bit longer to when he says we are almost done and if i don't like it, I'll bring it up again.
He was in a mood yesterday with his staff and was a little short with them, even when they answered questions he was short with them too. Haven't seen him like this, so when I asked and he responded like that, i figured maybe he was having a day and I would just wait and see what happened next time.
Gaps are almost all closed so that's good too.
Go back on Valentine's day too.

I now have elastics! Wasn't expecting that when I went the last time, but it isn't too bad. They at least gave me the colorful ones, so I get to change them out with either hot pink, bright orange, lime green and purple through out the day. I got pink ligs this time too and ended up with the top arch in powerchains all the way.
This was not such a pleasant visit either, the tech tried to put in the heavier wire and kept trying to force it in--i had to stop her and tell her it isn't going in--she then asked the ortho & was told she shouldn't force it and the teeth are probably not ready for it yet and we could try next time. would have been nice if the tech new that from the get go. She had a hell of a time taking the wire out also which felt like my molar was being manhandled.
Glad I don't have to go for another 4 weeks and we'll see what will happen next time.
