It was around 5 hours. I remember being put under, then waking up to a nurse dripping water down my throat with a turkey baster.

Good luck to you. Those first few days are tough, but doable. Hopefully you've got some people helping you. I had an ex-girlfriend and her friend taking care of me, keeping me on my meds, etc. Life savers.
