Your teeth did look good before. I love the white wire. What type of braces do you have on top? You really cant see yours at all.

I had my first adjustment today. The OA sanded between my teeth to make room. It was a little uncomfortable but not unbearable. Below are some update photos. I can see space being made on the bottom. I don't see much of a change on the top.

Your ceramics look great. Mine were nearly as discreet as that with coated archwire until I had a tooth coloured powerchain added ( which now has a yellow tinge).

Here is a progress photo.

Should I be concerned that I didn't have a gap in my lower teeth prior to braces and now I do? Also, I'm really hoping this coil comes off at my adjustment next Friday. I also hope I can finally have my lateral incisor attached to my archwire this month.

Don't be concerned. I did have a gap in the bottom to begin with but it's doubled since getting the braces on. Sometimes things have to get worse before they get better.

The top teeth look as though they're coming along nicely :)

First Consultation: July 16th, 2013

Hello, and congrats! I had a white stripe on on my way to get my braces on, it was fine for me. My ortho gave me a starter kit too, and as for pain, it really didn't hurt until a few hours later and for me itwasnt that bad, the bottoms hurt a little more than the tops. Good luck
