Hi :)

#1 Post by Jamie83 »

Just wanted to say hi, am new to the forum.

Getting a fixed brace top and bottom in april, and four premolars extracted - easter weekend...have to eat my egg before then :p

am really looking forward to it getting started as i've been waiting a while and just want it to start, so I stop thinking about it! Plus I'm 28 so would be nice to start so it come off not long after i'm 30 (fingers crossed)

am scared about the extractions (never had any work done to my teeth and get so nervous at the dentist!) All four at the same time, and then the brace fitter two weeks later.

looking forward to starting my brace journey, sounds odd doesn't it!

:)

Hi :) Welcome to the forum! Good luck with your extractions. I'm sure all will be fine. They numb you up pretty good these days :D

Welcome! You'll do great. I had premiers extracted and it was no big deal. Just make sure you let everything heal properly. Are you going with clear or metal braces?

It's on the NHS, so i'm getting 6 top teeth clear, and the rest metal. Might look a bit odd but looking around the the internet seems to be quite common
glad the extractions don't sound too bad!
