Great coloured powerchain Kimmie :-)

I know exactly what you mean about tension as the powerchain goes on-definite tugging!

I have a new powerchain on today just feel a bit of tension there. A tooth coloured powerchain.

Hi Angel,
It's so funny how I am scared to get tooth colored power chain. Im afraid something I eat will stain it. Since I got braces I drink everything through a straw so it will by pass my teeth, but can't do that with food so that's why I always get color. To me it seems like powerchains are more prominent than ligs so I known if I stain the tooth colored ones it will really show.

Hey CC!

Well, about the headgear I have been avoiding that. He has not said anything about it and I didn't bring it up either!! It was funny because at my last appointment a young lady and her daughter were both in there getting headgear. I was like ooooooooo noooooo that may be me soon, but I have to say it looks NOTHING like headgear use to look. The little girl actually had the colored piece that fits over your head. When my times come hopefully I can get the colored head piece. Crossing fingers they have colored ones in adult sizes.

I hope you get coloured headgear too! That would certainly make it more fun! Fingers crossed that you can hold off on it for a little longer though :) Take care Kimmie!

Hope your appointment went well Kimmie.

The only thing that stained my tooth coloured powerchain was a spicy sweet and sour noodle snack, which gave it a slight yellow tinge. Powerchains are definitely more obvious than ligs though, my braces were less visible when it was just clear ligs.

Hey Everyone,

I am back finally with pictures. I am posting pictures of my journey from Feb 7-March 12th. My next appointment will be April 2nd!! I am feeling much better these days as I have been sick and was not able to post on here. I hope you all enjoy my progress. Much of everything has just been going in changing out my powerchains. As of my last appointment on March 12 I have CHAINS ON EVERY TOOTH. Can you say OUCH!! There are gaps all over my mouth now as things are moving to their correct position. Also, I have a lot of LOOSE TEETH!! So, everything is on the move these days. My ortho says things are moving along faster than they expected which is a good thing!!  He also said I may be able to by pass HEADGEAR and ELASTICS (he is about 85% sure at the moment) . Well Here are my progression photos

FEBRUARY 7th (Lilac Chains)

FEBRUARY 28th (Teal Chains)
