I just got my braces put on today...how much longer will the awkward taste of cement last in my mouth??

Congrats :jump: . I only tasted it for a few days. Brushing my teeth and tongue helped a whole lot. :lol:

Yay congratulations :-*

I couldn't taste the cement, but I did notice I had a weird dry mouth for about a week.

The etch stuff tasted VILE! Lots of mouthwash and sugar-free mints got rid of the taste eventually!

16 months 1 week and 2 days in braces
12mm overjet and narrow jaws all fixed with braces and elastics.
