I'll join your lost bracket club. I'm now up to swallowing 2 since I started treatment. I lost a bracket last week while eating my chicken dinner. I felt the loose wire after I finished eating and got my tweezers out so I could put it back in place and low and behold there was no longer a bracket left. I had almost an inch of wire flopping around back there. I called the ortho the next day and due to the surgical schedule of the ortho I couldn't get in until this week. (It was on a crown so the tech couldn't replace it.) I was at work at the time and I just got a pair of wire cutters from the custodian, scrubbed them down, and snipped away myself. I go in tomorrow for a new bracket and wire. :D

I love your lig colors. Good for you having fun with them.

Roughage. Good for your digestive system, but low in fiber.

My honey's progress so far. The unwired bottom tooth is moving the wrong way, but the ortho said they'd put in a spring at the next appointment to open up a space for it to "join the party", as we put it. Then once that opens up it should be able to be wired in. :)

Hi Ellabelle,
I am sorry but I just can't see that the tooth is moving the wrong way. But, I'll take your word for it. Hope he isn't still having too much discomfort from all his hardware!

Hi Ellabelle,
Now that you've pointed that out to me, yes, I can see it. They're going to be able to fix it? That's good. I think that the whole science behind orthodontics is just amazing. All these things they can do, pretty incredible!

Happy March! Today's adjustment went well. We both went with alternating shades of green (our first matching colors :)), though it's hard to tell that it's two different shades. My honey got a spring to open up a space on the bottom for that rebel tooth to join the party. I got a "curved" wire and 5 SS ties. He said I'd probably get my bottoms in a couple months!! :) I hope you all are doing well!
