ive only ever had 2 come off, one not being my fault and came off hours after i got them on.
sometimes they just randomly come off i guess. my friends have never had one come off though
Mine have been on for 3 weeks and a bracket came loose from one of my molars maybe 3-4 days after they were put on. It stayed attached to the wire but I could slide it back and forth. It definitely wasn't my fault because I was still eating yogurt and soup and generally being very delicate with my teeth because of all the pain.
I went to the ortho and she popped it back on. I haven't had any problems since and though it was simple to fix I hope it doesn't happen again.
31 months in braces and not one bracket has ever fallen off.
Braces: Metal fixed upper and lower Estimated treatment time: 18-24 months Braces Removed: August 2013 (after 33 months in braces) Retainers: Upper & lower essix and lower bonded My Story / Before & After photos
Just one, and it came off while the ortho assistant was shutting the doors on my brackets after a wire change.
She had just been explaining to me that these wires would put a lot more tension on my teeth and to expect to feel some pain with this... And pop went the bracket!
I've had my braces just over a year and never lost a bracket!
However, my molar buildups have broken a few times - not due to me eating anything bad though, they've just...broken. Oh and my lingual button on lower back molar has fallen off once.
