I can finally say if like myself, you are somebody who has been unsure and thinking about getting braced but unsure on how they will look, pain, so called "stigma" for being an adult with braces etc

It is SO worth doing it. I finished treatment today and the difference between my before and after photos is astounding-

16 months 1 week and 2 days in braces
12mm overjet and narrow jaws all fixed with braces and elastics.

Thanks for all your lovely comments. I just can't get used to smiling!

I always knew my teeth were letting my face down :-( Even with the retainer I am scared they will revert back to their nastiness-might just be paranoia.

OMG!! Just beautiful!! I know what you mean about being paranoid about the teeth moving back to before. I'm almost afraid to get my braces off next month, because at least now my teeth are straight!

Just do everything the ortho says as far as wearing your retainers!!
