Having overjet after double jaw surgery

#1 Post by BeKo »

I had a double jaw surgery 3 months ago to correct my underbite. However, I notice my 4 upper front teeth seems come out more like having an overjet, I haven't measured but would say it's around 4 to 5 mm, now I cannot close my lips at relax position and is told having snoring as well, did anyone has similar experience and can the overjet be corrected through braces?

The surgery is to align bones, your orthodontist will then straighten the teeth to function correctly.
