Well, I started treatment ( extraction and currently wearing Nance´s button) with 29 but I´ll get the actual braces next 24th when I´ll be 30 :D

Got mine on at 18 Turning 20 in June

I am 50 and just got my top arch 12 days ago. Bottom arch will go on in a couple of months. Braces were never mentioned growing up, even though my teeth were slightly crooked (due to crowding). When I was 18 and in the army one dentist said a retainer might help- but I never got it as it didn't appear too bad. fast forward to now- crossbite responsible for pushing tow bottom incisors forward so much that pressure is causing gum recession and what does my dentist recommend?- a bridge- lucky for me I recently had acquired a new friend who just so happens to be a dentist and when i told her that a bridge was recommended she told me to talk to an orthodontist- now I am in braces and won't have to have that bridge after all.
