Decided to have both bracing and extraction on same day to cut down on the number of sore days- weird sort of logic I know! All went well, albeit the seemingly normal soft foods, 3kg weight loss, and popping painkillers! Today is day 6 and I sooo can't wait to see progress. My partner told me to stop checking

Called in to ask ortho for more wax yesterday, and hv been using teething gel on my gums!
Haven't chewed anything since I had them on- I chop food up into tiny pieces, back of mouth and swallow. Teeth are quite tender, but ortho did say there would be a lot of movement in first months as extraction will allow for it.
In ovation clear on top 6 + 2 metal
Metal on lower 8
Metal spring on lower, and the wayward tooth is bracketed but not in archwire.
Have been told 16-20 months.
Molar bands in future to close 2nd bicuspid extraction sites. BTW- extractions are why I'd put off ortho treatment for 15 yrs- was nothing to worry about and highly necessary I can understand that now!
Right- time to visualize some movement in the hope it makes them move! Have just seen someone's pics of canines dropping down to look less fang like- yay!!
Anyone know what Torque Auxillary Devices are?
