I think I enjoyed the mustard more than the actual hot dog, but it was my first "bbq" with braces so pretty thrilling. 8)

Just so happens to be brace related! I am thinking of my brace removal date and hoping NOTHING else goes wrong (mainly gaps re opening or not closing) so that I don't have to reschedule it yet again.
Braces: Metal fixed upper and lower
Estimated treatment time: 18-24 months
Braces Removed: August 2013 (after 33 months in braces)
Retainers: Upper & lower essix and lower bonded

-I am thinking that I read this forum every day in anticipation for my getting braces on Aug 5th! :D
-I am also missing my dd who is in Seattle for the whole month, and I can't wait to go pick up. :D
-I am thinking that it sure is quiet here with out any kids at home, and can't seem to grasp that the older they get the quieter it gets, and that I will need to start thinking about myself more, and less about my kids. :?
-I am thinking that my brain runs at overtime, and if I think about being alone too much it makes me sad.
-I am thinking I need to quit thinking!

This is me all over!

It's tough being away from family (((hugs))). I hate being all alone.

I'm currently thinking I am not buying any more lamb chops from the local supermarkets. They keep tasting funky (not off, just funky).

I'm also thinking I'm kind of tired. It's been a long 24 hours.

I'm thinking I am scared that I've given myself food poisoning (paranoid about food poisoning!)

Still thinking about food poisoning.

Cannot stop thinking about food poisoning :yuck:

Im thinking that Im tired too. Went to sleep at 11 and they cut off the power to our town and the surrounding town for a scheduled something blah blah at 12. It seemed fine and dandy when I got the letter a few weeks ago. I forgot about it until it happened. Sleeping in the silence (Im a fan sleeper) during a hot summer night isnt ideal. Then I got up at 6am for work.....more blah.

Tobilei- hope you are done thinking about the unmentioned thing.

kids041- I think way too much too. ugh!

Tobilei, I had the worst food poisoning ever just a few days before I got my braces. I have never gone back to the restaurant where I suspect I got it, a major chain here in the US. I think it was the lukewarm tomato soup. I have never got food poisoning from anything home-cooked, though.

I can't wait until this palatal expander comes out of my mouth. Right now it's 5x harder to eat!

Also, happy Hump Day! It's super hot in DC right now, but I can't even complain. Ah, summer!

Tobilei- thanks for the ((hugs))! It is hard having her gone for a whole month, but the older she gets the (easier for her) it is to venture out and about! At least she is with family, so I don't have to worry about her on top of missing her too!!
I hope you did not get food poisoning! :yuck:

-I am thinking I had the WORST headache last night :FeelSick: !! I don't want a repeat of that today!
-I am thinking I have errands to run today and it is feeling like it is gonna be HOT! I don't like the hot weather!! Since it is going to be hot- I should not spend my whole morning on the computer, skulking in the forum or on FB!! :!:

I am thinking about how nice my days would be once my braces are off. I am just back from my adjustment and the ortho told me that we will talk about when I will be brace-free when I am in for next adjustment. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

1) We are very tight financially and am thinking my wife thinks I made a selfish mistake in getting braces for myself at the same time as I did the kids also. Especially when most everything that she can see looked pretty straight. (mostly its to more a molar forward to close a gap from an extraction, and to work on closing a posterior open bite. I am sure she thinks I am a orthochondriac.

2) I have a few elastics now, but really hope we can crank it up a bit so I get a lot of movement over the next month as its going to be 6+ weeks after my next apt (tomorrow) before I will be able to get back in due to vacations.

3) Traveling to work with some coworkers that I have never worked with before. That have no clue I have braces.

My mental dump is done.
