Hi SkizzyD! Looks like we got braces on the same day!? (Friday 6 December for me).
I'm also in Aus, so if you find some products that help you with pain/ulcers do share! A lot of the product recommendations I see on here we can't get in Australia.

I agree with the stay away from Google point. I asked my ortho about my face changing when having teeth removed, and she said in my situation I should be ok. So I guess ask your ortho a lot of questions when you see them next!

Hello, csosborne88!

I got mine on December 4th, so, almost the same day!

Let me know if you find some good products as well!

I'm visiting family at the moment for the holidays and I guess I talked to much and my lips were swollen/sore the next morning! lol

I guess it wil take a little bit longer to get used to!

Hope everything goes well for you!

Can't wait to join you on your journey.

Help!

One of the white wires around one of my clear brackets has become loose.

Should I attempt to twist/tighten this myself?

I am out of town until Monday.

haha, stay away from google. I searched some bad stories and i saw some in this forum too, which stressed me out, so today i asked a lot of questions to him today. after the meeting, i felt much better. coz i saw a patient there just got off her braces who had 2 teeth extracted. she looked much better than before. since the orthodontics i went is a very old one here that established in 1974. their business is very good, and i got a lot of good comments on them from online. good service! their fee is higher than the others too. but quality is the most important thing. bad orthodontist can mess up our face and health.
