Well I cant believe it i've joined the group properly now!
I tried to log in yesterday and this morning on my phone but for some reason it was saying access denied. I was devastated not being able to loo up helpful hints and share my pics, but i'm on the computer now and logged in, yay.

Wow how strange does it feel. The very back top bracket is giving me a bit of grief and last night i stacked the wax on so it wasn't too bad.
I am a pepsi max addict, does anyone else still drink soft drink? I'm going to try and ease off it.

I stopped drinking soda completely about 7 years ago. The only times I have it now is when mixed with alcohol. :oops:

why have braces: two upper lateral teeth had incurable infection
Jan. 8, 2014 - got brackets on
Jan. 9 morning, 2014 - got 5-tooth extraction, including one wisdom teeth
Jan. 9 afternoon, 2014 - got wires on

Congrats Tlal23! It looks like you have the innovation c type braces.

Like Matilda, I stopped drinking soft drink altogether a long time ago. I'd recommend not drinking sugary drinks while in braces though, my ortho says the sugar can and will work its way underneath the bracket causing tooth discoloration and decay!

What type of braces did you get? Do you have any coils on them? I ask because my bottom is similar to yours.

Braces (similar to damon) no coils.

I have the same braces.. Empower SL clear on top, metal on the bottom with 1 coil on the bottom to make space for my tooth that is stuck in behind. I've had them on for 2 weeks now, and i'm just starting to notice some slight changes...
