Congratulations! I'm so happy for you. It is truly amazing how fast all the big changes occur. The toughest part is riding out the months where you don't see much change but have to have faith that it's all working. The rubber bands are a big pain in the butt, however, I've found they work really well if you're compliant. I've had them in 4 different configurations for most of my treatment. Now I feel naked without them!

I agree about the elastics. They do really work! I've been wearing class 3 for a bit and they've made a huge difference. I feel completely naked without them. Occasionally I will get sidetracked and forget to put them in after brushing and when I realize it, I wanna cry because I know how much that sets you back.

I've actually adapted to them pretty well. They are there to pull back the underbite, which really doesn't have THAT far to go, maybe 5mm? I think I'll probably have to wear them in a different configuration then to get the bottoms centerlined about 2mm.
