It's been a while, and I'm still wearing braces of course.

BUT... not for long! As it seems, my ortho believes I'm ready to move on with my life without them :) so I'll be removing them next saturday!
He initially said it should take about 1 year, give or take... and pretty much got it right! It's been 13.5 months, to be exact.

Finally!!! I was used to them by now, really, but it feels amazing to know they're coming out.

Congrats Slack! I hope I get mine off in a 12 mo period. Was told 18-22 mo on average and hoping that's the typical quote to everyone as woes case scenario. Maybe wishful thinking but I am going with it!!

And it's done!!! :jump:
After almost 14months, I'm free!!! It wasn't that hard, though.

I'm very glad with the results. Maybe not 100% perfect teeth, but pretty good enough for me!!!

Thank you all :)

I'm now wearing a fixed retention on my lower teeth (small wire glued behind), and a removable clear plastic appliance on my upper teeth (night only).
A small price to pay... the worst part is definitely over.

My ortho is still not completely satisfied... he wants to "trim" a bit of gum from one of my front incisors, and some other minor stuff...

I'm already very satisfied with the results :) now I probably seem an happier person to others, I definitely smile a lot more heheh
