My braces journey has came to an end!

Hello everyone!! Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I just wanted to share a little of my excitement, my braces were removed last Thursday. :lol:

I also just wanted to say that I'm so very thankful for this forum and for everyone's encouragement along the way. It sure doesn't seem like 21 months have came and gone already!

Even at the age of 43, I don't regret my decision to improve my smile and confidence at all! It's the best money I've spent. 8) Don't give up, you'll be so glad when you see your beautiful smile at the end of your smile improving journey!

As always, wishing everyone many pain free days on their braces journey. :rose:

Bonded Rapid Palatal Expander: 10/1/13 - 3/31/14
Upper and Lower Metal Braces: 4/22/14 - 7/14/15
Total treatment time: 21 months

WOW, that is an AMAZING result!!! Congratulations! You must be so happy!
How did your ortho do this? Did you have surgery or an expander to fix your crossbite or just braces? Anyway, your teeth look so great now!!!

Wow, you look amazing!
07/14/14 - 4 spacers put in
07/25/14 - braces top and bottom put in minus 2 molar bands that they couldn't fit
9/11/14 - 2 spacers put in between the bottom back molars
9/19/14 - last 2 bottom molar bands in and all hooked up, new wire, started elastics too
10/14/14 - new square wire change and thick elastics
04/24/17 - braces removed!!! :BigGrin:
